Entrepreneurship Development Programme conducted by Bhawanipur Education Society College (BESC), Kolkata from August 10, 2015 to August 14, 2015. Prof. Dilip Shah, the Dean of Students Affairs delivered the introductory speech followed by the guest speaker Mr. Dhirendra Pradhan on the topic entrepreneurship and start-up business.

Mr. Pradhan highlighted and motivated students understand and develop their own new start-up business concept, a basic business start-up action plan, confidence, inspiration, belief and motivation and knowledge and methods for keeping it going.

Mr. Vineet Patwari, CEO of Kredent Academy shared his experiences on start-up business on day 2. He debated about the rule of strategy, execution, setup structure and culture. Mr. Bharat Baid shared his own experiences and the journey of becoming an entrepreneur. The session was interactive and students reaped enough knowledge from the speakers.

Mr. Banwari Lal Mittal, Chairman and Managing Director, Microsec shared his Success Story on day 3. He debated about the Educational Innovation and Technology focussing on the three factors necessary to produce the synergy for success stories namely, innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. The second guest speaker was Mr. Dipak Jalan, Managing Director Linc pens, he f he builds this brand name and gained the fame by introducing Linc in Writing Instrument Industry of the country. 

 

The day 4 session of the Entrepreneurship Development Programme consisted of a speech on Business Plan by Mr. Vikash Jain. He talked about the importance and formulation of business plan. He covered formulating typical structure for a business plan for a fresh start up including cover page and table of contents, executive summary, SWOT analysis, etc. This session was helpful for the students as it gave them a clear picture of how to give a formal shape to their business.

The last day session was carried out by The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development is a premier organisation of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Mr. Sudip Mallick, Sr. Advisor NIESBUD, enlightened the scholars about the Legalities involved and what should be taken care of before starting a new business.
