Feria 2015:A Film Festival was organised in the premises of Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies

A Film Festival was organised in the premises of Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies, in order to celebrate the budding talent of directors, producers, creative heads, script writers and editors. Films are a glorious world of fame, talent, exposure and the larger than life experience; so in order to celebrate this great world where knowledge has no boundaries and ideas have no limits a film festival was organised in the campus. The Festival was an initiative taken up by the Journalism and Communication department.

The event kick started with the lightning of the lamp and the fusion dance on Ganesh Vandana performed by the girls of the college. The guests were also felicitated with bouquets in order to show gratitude for their presence.

After that a welcome a address was spoken by the Executive Director Mr. Aditya Awasthi, and after that some motivational words were was spoken by the Directors of MAIT and MAIMS and the Chairman of the institution.

Then the screening of the movies began where some of the best works of the college students were showed, like; Ek Rahasya, the Beautiful Game and Sunday. After the screening the whole team of the respective movies were called upon the stage and were asked to share their experiences with the crowd.

After that another three short films were screened which were Eidgaah and Bas Ab Aur Nahi? Then after the teams spoke for their films the screening of the short films began where some of the most inspirational movies were shown. And to end the show a horror movie ‘The Nocturnal’ by the students of MAIMS was shown to the crowd. 

The event ended with the award distribution to the best talents of the college and by the vote of thanks by Mr. Bhatnagar.
