Dehradun, 14th August. The 10th foundation day of Graphic Era University saw the Cultural vibrancy of India. During the occasion, the journey and achievements of 25 years of Graphic Era University were remembered. On this occasion, thousands of students came together to pledge to contribute to the nation-building with full zeal and enthusiasm.
This 10th Foundation Day was celebrated in the silver jubilee year of Graphic Era University. Chief Patron, Graphic Era University, Mr R.C Ghanshala inaugurated the ceremony by cutting the cake. Sharing the tough and challenging journey of Dr Ghanshala in establishing Graphic Era University that started from a room with only one computer he told that one has to face difficulties at every step in the path of attaining success. One can reach its goal only with strong willpower and relentless hard work. To attain one’s dream one must have a practical approach and sheer hard work. Warning the students, Mr. Ghanshala said that drugs not only harm an individual but also his family as a whole. Addressing the ceremony Dr. R.C Joshi, Chancellor, Graphic Era University said that the Graphic Era Group has attained such success because of the hard work, far sightedness, team building skills and team leadership skills of Dr. Ghanshala. Sharing his experience of all the countries across Europe he said that there isn’t a University as good in infrastructure and student learning environment as Graphic Era. Dr. Joshi said that the university has attained the highest score with NAAC ‘A’ Grade in the North Zone which is itself a proof of it’s best quality education.
Telling about the rigorous hard work and team leadership of Dr. Ghanshala, Vice-Chancellor, Graphic Era University Dr. L.M.S Palani said that to attain their goals students must keep trying and never give up on their dreams. The event was coordinated by Dr. M.P Singh and Mr. Sahib Sablok.
The theme of the foundation day ceremony was the tricolor. The cultural programme commenced with the Ganesh Vandana by Ilarika. Popular singer Alexander won a lot of hearts with his songs. The Aiana group performed a skit based on the life of Bhagat Singh through which they propagated his thoughts and the happenings of his life. Vikalp Pratap Singh, Paristosh Joshi, Kritika Verma, Virendra Rathore, Aditi Upreti, Kanishka Soni, Chetan Chauhan performed their characters with complete dedication.
Shivam Pandey, Adarsh Ranjan and Prajwal Bhojak of Rhythm Slaves and Syed Ubed, Kanishka, Sabin, Harshit Rai, Pragya Saini, Pradiksha gave dance performances. The audience also applauded Rythvik Baukhandi for his Beat Boxing. Dr. V.K Tiwari, Director General, Graphic Era, Vice Chancellor Graphic Era University, Dr. Sanjay Jasola, old members of the Graphic Era family and other officials were present during the occasion.
