Manav Rachna Centre of Foreign Languages (MRIU) celebrated its 1st birth anniversary with much pomp and show on June 6, 2016.
The event was the amalgamation of celebrations, happiness, cultural diversity, joy, glory and unity, which made it worth memorable. The entire gallery was filled with beautiful craft and cultural works of the students from different languages.
The hard work of the students and faculties was evident when one saw the prototypes and models representing the monuments, cuisines, festivals, and all other cultural and geographical aspects of the countries like France, Japan, Germany, Spain and Arab.
The event kicked started with a showcase of MRCFL’s journey and achievements. Reflecting its true sense, languages and cultural diversity; performances like a Japanese version of the song “Let it Go” by the Japanese language students and a dance performance highlighting all the dance forms of the different countries left the all spellbound.
Also a cultural voyage was presented to bring to light the evolution of different cultures over time. The event was graced by the the honourable presence of MREI dignitaries including Dr M.M Kathuria , Trustee , MREI , Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, MD- MREI, Dr. N.C Wadhwa, VC, MRIU and other senior functionaries, faculty members and students.
The event was a grand success among the masses and the audience took home happy and cheerful memories. The delightful event came to end with a song sung by the MRCFL and CDC faculties with benediction by Ms. Gauri Bhasin, Head CDC and MRCFL.
