Ganesh Mahotsava Celebration at Prestige Institute of Management and Research

Prestige Institute of Management and Research is celebrating Ganesh Mahotsava from September 17-28, 2015


Ganpati Bappa Morya’…With the advent of Ganpati Season, Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), Indore also interjected its participation to the festive season. The fest started with installation of Lord Ganesh’s artistic clay effigy. The students along with the faculty member actively participated in the event. There was no discrimination relating to religion.

There was floral ornamentation all over the Campus. The students made rangoli to welcome Ganpati. The Campus was boomed with the tagline “Ganpati Bappa Morya”. There was establishment of ‘pandal’ (temporary shrine) in the Campus for the ten days celebration.

Everyone was astonished to see Lord Ganesha’s beautifully decorated idol.  As per the Hindu rituals, the fest started with the enchantment of mantras. The mantras invoked the presence of Ganpati and everyone was enjoying the sanctified ambiance. The Campus was full of imbue of the dhoop offered to Ganesh. 

On the last day of Ganesh Mahotsav, various activities like Yagya, Purnaahuti, Mahaarti, Prasad Vitran were conducted by the students and later all present, proceeded for the Visarjan. All the faculty member as well as the students had came in traditional attires.
