Established in 1952, the college is an autonomous body under the control of the government of the State. The college has a co-operative store and a post-office in the premises. ACCET’s campus spreads over an area of 144.39 acres. Admission to engineering programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels is done on the basis of the performance in entrance exams. The college also offers scholarship to its students.

Government College of Engineering, Bargur:

Established in 1994, the college is set amidst lush greenery and quaint ambience making it the ideal place for studying engineering. The college is affiliated to the Anna University. Indian Institute of Technology – Madras
