Guest Lecture at NIT Patna by Noble Prize Nominee Prof. Asit K. Biswas

Noble Prize Nominee and water hero Prof. Asit K. Biswas visited Patna on February 5. 2016.

National Institute of Technology was graced by the presence of the eminent Noble Prize nominee and Water hero of the world Prof. Asit K. Biswas, who visited the campus during a guest lecture on February 5, 2016.
The guest lecture was conducted by the Civil Engineering Students Club of NIT Patna. Mr. Biswas is the founder of the ‘Third World Center for Water Management’ and working as a guest faculty at Singapore University at present.
He has also been the author or editor of 81 books and published over 680 scientific and technical papers. He has been a senior adviser to 19 governments, Head of six United Nations agencies, Secretary General of OECD and to many other international and national organisations.
The lecture was attended by the students from all departments and left some memorable and significant insights to be cherished.
