Delhi University is one of the most prestigious Indian institutions catering higher education to Indian and international students. Delhi University Homeopathy Eligibility Criteria

Delhi University homeopathy seats are filled in two ways, merit-based and entrance examination based. For merit-based selection, DU reserves 85% seats for students that have completed their senior secondary education from Delhi (Delhi Quota) and 15% seats for students that have completed their senior secondary education from elsewhere in India. Merit-based BHMS admissions are provided to students based on the combined marks obtained in Biology, Chemistry and, Physics. In the case of a tie between candidates, first preference is given on the basis of marks in Biology, second preference on the basis of marks obtained in English, and third (or last) preference is given on the basis of age.

All the eligibility criteria for BHMS Delhi University homeopathy admission is slated as follows:

1.      The candidate should be 17 years of age during the time of the admission process.

2.      The candidate must be medically fit and produce a medical certificate for testifying the fact.

3.      For Delhi Quota Seats – Candidates must have passed the intermediate/senior school certificate examination or any other                        equivalent examination recognised by the Delhi University with minimum 50% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC) marks in three                subjects, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics from a recognised school positioned within the National Capital Territory of                Delhi.

4.      For All India Quota Seats – Candidates must have passed the intermediate/senior school certificate examination or any other                  equivalent examination recognised by the Delhi University with minimum 50% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC) marks in three                subjects, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics from a recognised Indian school.

5.      Candidates must have passed English as one of the subjects in senior school certification examination.

All the eligibility criteria for MD (H) Delhi University homeopathy admission is slated as follows:

1.      Candidates must have passed Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery from Delhi University or any other university                         recognised by the Central Council of Homeopathy.

2.      Candidates must have obtained the permanent registration from the Board of Homeopathic System of Medicine.

Delhi University Homeopathy Admission Courses

Delhi University provides two courses in homeopathy. One is Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery, a.k.a. BHMS, and the second is Doctor of Medicine in Homeopathy, a.k.a. MD (H). Out of the 51/2 years of BHMS course, students have to undergo 1-year internship for receiving hands-on medical experience.

Delhi University Homeopathy Admission Guidelines

The admission forms with inconsistencies with respect to the homeopathy admission guidelines set by Delhi University will be subjected to rejection without any notice. 1.      Students interested in taking an admission for studying homeopathy from the Delhi University need to register at the Delhi University official website.

2.      Filling of Delhi University homeopathy admission forms will only take place during the predetermined admission duration set by the Faculty of Medical Sciences authority.

3.      Homeopathy candidates are required to ensure that they’ve met all the eligibility criteria before filling up the DU application forms. Delhi University will not entertain application forms of ineligible candidates.

4.      The application form can’t be submitted until each mandatory field is filled-up. Hence, candidates should carefully fill every mandatory field in the application form.
