ICFAI University hosted a Ganesh Puja on September 5, 2016 to celebrate the arrival of Lord Ganesha.
The essence of Ganesh Chaturthi is everywhere these days. The whole country come together to celebrate the arrival of Lord Ganesha in different parts of the country with proper rituals.
Feeling the same urge, ICFAI University, Raipur organised a Ganesh Puja on September 5, 2016. A statue of lord Ganesha, made up of clay, was installed at campus and worshiped with rituals. All the rituals was performed by a temple priest, with great enthusiasm among the students.
The statue of lord Ganesha was kept in the campus for five days, during these days he was worshiped regularly with proper rituals. On the sixth day, the idol was submersed in a pond near the campus. Vice chancellor, Registrar, Faculty members, staffs and all students were present during the visharjaan ceremony of lord Ganesha.
