ICFAI University, Raipur Celebrates Vishwakarma Day with Rituals

The Vishwakarma day was celebrated enthusiastically by following all the rituals at ICFAI University, Raipur.

ICFAI University, Raipur organised Viswakarma Puja to worship the God of creation, Lord Vishwakarma on September 17, 2016.
Vishwakarma Day is enthusiastically celebrated all over the country to worship the lord Vishwakarma every year in the month of September. Vishwakarma is considered as swayambhu and Creator of the world. He constructed the holy city of Dwarka where Krishna ruled, the Maya Sabha of the Pandavas, and was the creator of many fabulous weapons for the gods.
The various rituals related to the day was performed under the guidance of a priest. Photograph of lord Viswakarma was installed at Mechanical workshop and worshiped.
The mechanical equipments of all the labs were initially cleaned and then worshipped. The necessary arrangements were done by a group of students with faculties. Registrar, faculty members, staffs and all students were present during the worship. Students participated enthusiastically and coordination of faculties made the function successful.
