IIM Calcutta Cutoff

IIM Cutoff 2018 – Indian Institute of Management has announced the minimum qualifying cutoff for the 2018-20 session. Candidates who will get an overall percentile of 90 or above in CAT 2017 exam will be taken into consideration by IIM, Calcutta. Along with the overall cutoff, candidates must meet the sectional cutoffs. IIM Calcutta has already mentioned the minimum cutoff for each section in CAT 2017. Candidates meeting the minimum cutoff criteria will be eligible for admission.

IIM Calcutta is one of the most prestigious management institutes in India. Admissions are granted on the basis of CAT scores. To get the admission, candidates must obtain the minimum cutoff scores. CAT exam will be held on November 26 and the result is expected to be announced in the second week of January, 2018.

IIM Calcutta Cutoff 2017

It is evident from the table, candidates from general category must have an overall percentile of 90 or above and a minimum percentile of 80 or above in all the three sections. Candidates from NC-OBC category must have an overall percentile of 85 and sectional cutoff of 75 in all the three sections. Candidates meeting the above-mentioned cutoff will be called for further admission procedure which will consist Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates must be clear that IIM Calcutta cut off 2017 criteria will only make them eligible for the pre admission rounds. It does not give any guarantee that they will be granted admission or not. Final admission will be given on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entire selection process.

IIM Calcutta Cutoff 2015-17

For the year 2015-17, candidates were shortlisted on the basis of CAT 2014 scores. In 2014, the CAT exam pattern was totally different. There were only two sections. SO candidates can check the IIM Calcutta cutoff for the year 2015-17 given in the table below which contains only two sections.

Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta is one of the most eminent business schools of India. It is one of the oldest IIMs and was established in 1961. Admission in IIM, Calcutta is granted on the basis of Common Admission Test (CAT) scores. CAT exam will be conducted on November 26, 2017. After the entrance test, candidates will be shortlisted for the further admission procedure. It will include writing ability test and personal interview rounds. Final selection of candidates will be done on the basis of CAT scores, past academic records, work experience and IIM Calcutta cutoff for each section of the exam.

Candidates must fulfil the CAT eligibility criteria in order to get admission. Aspirants who will not fulfil the criteria will be disqualified at the time of counselling and document verification. As per the eligibility norms, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks and 45 percent for candidates belonging to SC. ST and PwD. Final year candidates can also apply for the same. If selected, they will be given provisional admission. They will be required to produce the original certificate and mark sheet latest by December 31, 2018.
