IIM Calcutta Invites Applications for Tata Social Enterprise Challenge (TSEC)

Tata Social Enterprise Challenge (TSEC) 2016-17 is India's largest social entrepreneurship Business Plan contest jointly hosted by IIM Calcutta and Tata Group.

The biggest entrepreneurship Business Plan contest is round the corner. Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP) and the Tata Group are delighted to announce the launch of the 5th Edition of the Tata Social Enterprise Challenge (TSEC) 2016-17- India's largest social entrepreneurship Business Plan contest.
 
 
 
 
The contest will provide a platform to all those with innovative ideas to create positive impact and changes on the society, to showcase their talent. It is a national level contest to search India’s most promising social emprises. The main aim of this contest is to raise awareness about Social Entrepreneurship.
The contest will be hosted in three stages:
 
  • Impact Proposal Round
  • Semi-Finals 
  • The Grand Finale
 
 
 
Attractions:
 
The top 3 winners of the competition will win cash grants up to 2 lakhs, each, to be invested in their ventures.
The teams which make it to the grand finale will be given an opportunity to pitch for incubation at IIM Calcutta.
All teams shortlisted for the semi-finals and finals will have an opportunity to pitch to India’s largest social VCs for seed funding.
3 week mentorship support will be provided to all short-listed teams leading up to a two-day residential mentorship program on IIMC campus.
