In order to be eligible for this management institute, a candidate is required to clear CAT 2017 cut off. There will be a three stage process of selection at IIM Indore. The institute will first make a CAT merit list which will be based on score of CAT 2017. On the basis of this merit list, the candidates will be selected for further rounds of selection which include a written test and personal interview. On the basis of a candidate’s academic performance including Xth and XIIth class, academic diversity, work experience etc. In this post, we are discussing about IIM Indore Admission Criteria 2018 – 20.

If you are an MBA aspirant and are planning to take admission in PGP at IIM Indore, you need to first take CAT 2017 exam. Candidates will be selected for post graduate program, based on CAT score as per IIM Indore selection norms 2018. After this, the candidates will be called for next IIM Indore rounds which include written ability test and personal interview. IIM Indore Admission Criteria 2018

  1.  IIM Indore Eligibility Criteria 2018 for PGP Program

Candidates can only apply for IIM Indore 2018 only if they satisfy CAT 2017 eligibility criteria. Following are the basic eligibility norms which are required to satisfy

  • Candidate should be a graduate with minimum 55% marks which is 45% in case of SC/ST and PWD candidates.
  • Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation can also apply.
  • The candidates who are having professional qualification (CA/CS/CWA etc.) can also apply.

      2.  IIM Indore MBA Qualifying Cutoff 2017

The marks obtained by a candidate in his/her bachelor’s program, will be based on the practice which the university/institution follows from where s/he has completed his/her degree. In case of the candidate being awarded grades or CGPA instead of the marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence which the university or the institution has to certify where from the candidate has completed the graduation. If the university or the institution doesn’t have the any scheme to convert the CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the obtained GPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result by 100.

The candidates who are appearing in the final year of three year’s bachelor program and those who have finished their degree and are waiting for the results, are also eligible to apply for IIM Indore for PGP program 2018. In such scenario, the candidates are required to submit a certificate from the HOD/Principal/Registrar of the university/institution which will certify that the candidate is studying in final year at present or is waiting for result and has scored a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent to it on the basis of latest available grades or marks (the minimum marks in case of SC/ST/PWD are 45%). If such candidate is selected, s/he will be able to join the program on provisional basis in case if s/he submits a certificate latest by 30th June, 2018 from the HOD/Registrar/Principal/Director of the institution stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements (the result may be awaited) for earning the bachelor program on the date of issuing the certificate.

A final year student is required to submit the marks sheets and degree certificate of final year’s bachelor degree examination held on or before 30th June 2018 (including any supplementaries), so that s/he can be considered eligible for post graduate program at IIM Indore.

The candidates are required to submit the certificates and mark sheets by 31st December 2018. If a candidate fails to follow it, his candidature will be cancelled automatically. If any candidate submits university certificate which doesn’t mention clearly that the candidate has cleared the bachelor’s program, and also if he submits a provisional certificate from an affiliated institution, he will have to submit a certificate of authorization which will state that the college/institution has the power/authority to issue such certificate on the university’s behalf.

The candidate’s records in IIM Indore selection process 2018 can be verified at any stage. Only fulfilling the required eligibility criteria won’t ensure that the shortlisted candidates will get admission at IIM Indore.

After satisfying the eligibility criteria which have been discussed above, the candidates have to satisfy the qualifying cutoff as well. CAT 2017 percentile is considered as IIM Indore Cutoff and a candidate is required to be eligible so that he can be shortlisted for the next rounds of IIM Indore 2018 admission in PGP programs.
