IIM Indore is to introduce a certificate programme for the MSMEs and family run businesses from September 2016 onward.
The prestigious Indian Institute of Management in Indore (IIM Indore) will soon be introducing certificate programmes for MSMEs and businesses that are run by families. The certificate program will be introduced from the month of August and September 2016. For this purpose, a bill has also been drafted by the government of India in connection with the IIMS to give degrees to their students which will be discussed in the upcoming parliament session.
The confirmation of the certificate has also come from Director Rishikesha T Krishnan who talked about the same on the inauguration function of 2016-18 batch of IIM Indore. This programme is the response to the frequent inquiries from various businesses houses in the locality for the forthcoming programme which will be conducted on the weekends. However, the basic demand behind starting such a programme came from the local industries itself.
Apart from the certification course, Director Rishikesha T Krishnan also confirmed that IIM Indore will also be starting an incubator in its campus within a few months. This incubator will focus on entrepreneurs. As per the plan, the option will be offered to students who have entered the second year of the regular course at the institute and aim to become the entrepreneurship.
The move will also help Indian students who face difficulties when they go abroad in search of further studies or job. Once the bill is passed, it will provide effective solutions to these problems.
