IIM Udaipur Cutoff 2017 - In past few years, Indian Institute of Management Udaipur has gained popularity among the management aspirants. Candidates writing Common Admission Test this year and are wishing to study at IIM Udaipur must ensure that they clear the CAT cutoff of this Institute. The exam takers must ensure that they obtain score/percentile equal to or more than the IIM Udaipur 2017 cutoff. IIM Udaipur Cutoff 2017

IIM Udaipur is a new institute which was established in 2011 as an autonomous body. The institute is among one of the 7 IIMs which are set up by the central government during the 11th five year plan. Indian Institute of Management Udaipur offers two year post graduate program (PG) and one year post graduate program (PGPX) and other programs on management development courses such as fellow program in management (FPM).

CAT cutoff is the minimum criteria of percentile. Every candidate has to score the required percentile in order to secure admission to PGP programs at IIM Udaipur. Though, IIM Udaipur never discloses the cutoff. But, the institute releases admission criteria including eligibility guidelines which contains cutoff. The candidates who will be able to qualify the cutoff, institute will call them for next rounds of admission process.

Every IIMs has their own individual cutoff along with the admission criteria. CAT scores are announced according to category and sections. Generally, other famous B – schools such as MDI Gurgaon, FMS, and University of Delhi etc. have around 99 percentile CAT Cutoff. The IIMs which are new and recently established have their cutoff range of 90 to above percentile.

IIM Udaipur being a new institute has its cutoff starting from 90 percentile for the candidates belonging to general category. If we look at its IIM Udaipur cutoff of past years, we will find there has been no significant change in the cutoff in last two or three years. But in 2014, IIM Udaipur observed the highest cutoff of its time which went 96 percentile. In 2015, it again went to 90 percentile and since then it is almost same.

The institute soon will announce its admission criteria. The admission criteria differs from category to category. Candidates will have to fulfill the parameters in order to get shortlisted for personal appearance process.

Candidate who is eligible may or may not get place in the shortlist because the percentile scores in cutoff are just indicative and the real CAT cutoff will clear to the cutoff for the past years. There will be a separate shortlist will be generated which will include the names of all the aspirants who will be listed for further process of 9 news IIMs. There will be separate cutoff list for different categories and candidates will be given ranks based on the merit order.

The institute will prepare a combined final list of merit. Candidates will be offered admissions,, based on the composite scores. Following are the criteria on the basis of which the candidates will be judged and will be given weightage.

There will be several components which will be considered for prepare the final list. The institute will evaluate the candidates’ profile.
