Who Can Apply for M. Tech Admissions in IIT Gandhinagar

If you have passed GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) in the year 2015 or 2016, or you have appeared for GATE 2018, then you may apply for IIT Gandhinagar M. Tech admission. • A B.E./B. Tech/M.Sc. degree or an equivalent degree in an appropriate branch, with a minimum of 55% marks or 5.5 (on a 10-pont scale) – Relaxed by 5% for SC/ST candidates

• A valid GATE score in an appropriate branch –This condition is waived off for engineering/technology graduates from IITs with a minimum CGPA/CPI of 8.0.

• No GATE requirement for sponsored candidates with more than 2 years of experience and meeting other admission criteria for sponsorship
