The MoU between CTIF with IIT Patna will inspire young engineers and researchers of IIT-P towards research, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Indian Institute of Technology, Patna (IIT-P) entered into an agreement with Centre for TeleInFrastruktur (CTIF), Aalborg University, Denmark to provide research, innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities to the IITians.
IIT- P Director Pushpak Bhattacharyya signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CTIF Director Ramjee Prasad in this direction on Wednesday. CTIF is a leading research centre of the globe.
"The collaboration of CTIF with IIT Patna will inspire young engineers and researchers of IIT-P towards research, innovation and entrepreneurship. This co-operation will promote exchange of research programmes where students and faculty would be benefitted through latest developments in various engineering disciplines," said Bhattacharyya and Prasad after signing a MoU.
After signing the MoU, Prasad gave a talk on 'Human Bond Communications Beyond 2050', covering a variety of topics in the field of wireless communications. He specifically focussed on development of 5G technologies and beyond. He also talked about his plan to set up a world-class company to develop 5G technologies in Patna.
His talk also encouraged students and faculty towards innovation and proposing new ideas in various engineering disciplines for the benefit of society. On the occasion, Bhattacharyya highlighted the research and academic achievements of the institute saying that it distinctly stood in research and academic infrastructure.
