Inauguration of Business School and Introduction of Arts & Science Courses at Karunya City Campus

Admissions are open for MBA, BBA, B. Com, BCA, B.Sc. (IT), B.Sc. (Vis.Com) and Part Time B.Tech. and M.Tech. Engineering courses

It was a long pending demand from the Coimbatore students for a Karunya city campus where they could enroll as day scholars. Finally, Karunya University has established a city campus, which is located in the heart of the city (No.5, Ammankulam Road, Opp. Airtel, P.N. Palayam, Coimbatore). 

This campus has the state of the art infrastructure with fully furnished air-conditioned class rooms, equipped with modern teaching aids. It also possesses an excellent library facility and modern computer labs with Wi-Fi connectivity.

To start with, Karunya University will be offering MBA, BBA, B. Com, BCA, B.Sc. (IT), B.Sc. (Vis.Com) and Part Time B.Tech. and M.Tech. Engineering courses.   

The campus will operate in shifts, and students will have the choice of forenoon or afternoon shifts. This will be beneficial to students who are taking other courses or even working part-time. Being in the city, the students will have greater exposure to industry through guest and industrial visits and further at the time of placements.  

Admissions are open for the above mentioned courses in the city campus for the academic year 2016-2017 and an exclusive Admission Office for these courses is already functional in the campus itself.

Karunya University is a 30 years old university with excellent placement records. In the current year, the university has successfully placed around 1000+ students with more than 1400 placement offers in the first phase of placement itself.

Sponsored research projects from DST, DBT, DAE, ICSSR, SERB, etc. to the tune of Rs.12 crores is going on in the university, which is highly useful to the students in order to gaining exposure to work on these projects and get hands on training for the same.

KU is now focusing on patents and innovations and the university has filed 11 patents.  KU aims to produce professionals and graduates with values who will ultimately serve the country with a sense of social concern.
