Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical (KEAM) entrance exam is conducted for admissions into various professional degree courses
KEAM or the Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical is an entrance exam conducted by Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE), which is run by the state Government of Kerala for admissions into different professional degree courses. The entrance exam is conducted to assess the capability of the candidates in the respective fields and on the basis of the score secured in the entrance exam, admission is given. KEAM 2016 schedule is as follows:
- For engineering: 25th and 26th April
- For medical: 27th and 28th April
It is the only entrance exam in the country that is conducted by the State Government directly. In other states, usually the entrance exams are conducted by the Government run State University itself.
KEAM 2016 answer key
The KEAM medical entrance exam will be divided into 2 papers. Paper 1 will consist of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and the second paper will have questions from Biology. The question paper for engineering entrance exam will consist of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. After the entrance exam for each of the streams is conducted, the answer key for each exam is released by the examination authority. The answer keys help the candidates who have appeared in either of the exams to check how they have performed. The answer key will be available tentatively by the 4th week of April. The answer key for every course will be available separately and it will be available as per the question papers. For instance, for the medical entrance exam, both the papers will be segregated into 4 parts and the answer key for all the parts will be available for the candidates to judge their performance.
