Education New Zealand extended an honoured invite to Manav Rachna Educational Institutions represented by Ms. Gauri Bhasin, Head – Career Development Centre & Manav Rachna Centre of Foreign Languages for an innovative fashion showcase event ‘Runway to New Zealand’, to promote collaborations between fashion students from New Zealand and India on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Hyatt Regency.

Accompanied by Mr. Jaideep Singh, Director – Industry Interface and Dr. Amit Seth, HOD, FCBS the blend of cultural diversity embarked upon a new journey. Among the glitterati and diplomats, the event saw the starry presence of HE Mr. Grahame Morton, The New Zealand High Commissioner, Mr. Sunil Sethi, President, Fashion Design Council of India and Mr. John Laxon, Acting Regional Director, South Asia.

The event displayed culmination of a month long journey nurturing creativity and innovation; celebrating independent thinking and inculcating a culture of learning and teamwork in the form of jointly produced garments by the students.

The cultural conjecture was adjudicated by the promising names of Fashion Fraternity and was empanelled with names like ace designer Mr. Rohit Bal and eminent designers.

The High Stature event witnessed a blend of learning voyage through an integrated approach.

Manav Rachna Educational Institutions was showcased at the event in all its glory and the partakers were acquainted with the glorious journey of MREI. Such an event not only epitomizes equilibrium and cultural melange, but also strength and endurance of establishing best practices amid two powerful economies.
