Institute of Apparel Management offers B.Tech and MBA in Fashion.

Institute of Apparel Management is India’s first Apparel Multi- varsity (multi- university under one roof) promoted by Apparel Export Promotion Council (India’s largest Export Council) sponsored by Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
IAM has been very instrumental to train Designers, Design Professionals, Design Managers, Designer Merchandisers, and Quality Professionals etc. with a broad base knowledge of applied Management skills, competencies & understanding the dynamics of Apparel business in Global context.
Course offered:
B.Tech in Fashion and Lifestyle (FLD) for four years.
MBA programs for two years.
- MBA in Fashion Marketing & Merchandising (FMM)
- MBA in Fashion Design Management (FDM)
Other short term professional certificate programs from Jan – March 2013
- Fashion design merchandising (FDT) – 1 year
- Apparel Export merchandising (AEM)
- Retail experience and visual merchandising – 3 months
- Design and styling for fashion weeks – 6 months
- Pattern & fit engineering – 6 months
- CAD/CAM – 6 months
Last date to apply is 31st Jan 2013.
Career Opportunity: Graduates will join the industry as Designers, Assistant/ Junior Designers, Product Developers and Fashion Stylists.
Eligibility: Students who have obtained a secondary school education from a recognized board (CBSE/ICSCE/IB & other recognized boards) in any discipline are eligible to apply for admissions.As the medium of instruction is English, a working knowledge of the language is desirable.
