IP University Begins Admission Process for 2016-17

Get information on all medical, professional and technical programmes, application forms as well as the GGSIPU’s entrance exam IPU CET!

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi has started its admission process for around 31,000 seats and for 150 programmes to be offered in the academic session 2016-17.

Candidates interested in applying can access the University’s admission brochure for information on all medical, professional and technical programmes, application forms, Common Entrance Test (CET) schedule by visiting www.ipu.ac.in

The last date to submit applications for the postgraduate medical courses is March 1, 2016. The deadline to apply for courses that do not require candidates to take the CET is May 17, 2016. For all other remaining courses, the last date is March 29, 2016.

GGSIPU Admission Brochure for Academic Session 2016-17

The University will soon announce the admission process for the PhD programme and BVoc programme shortly. The application process for the B. Arch programme will begin from June 1, 2016 and the last date for applying is July 4, 2016. This year, candidates have pay application fee of Rs. 1,000.

In order to maintain transparency, candidates will now have to upload their thumb impression in the application form.

In 2015, around 2.45 lakh students applied for admission to the University’s various academic programmes, including B.Com (hons), BA (Journalism and Mass Communication), BBA, B.Tech and B.Arch as well as MBA, MCA and M.Tech courses.
