This exhibition showcased live Demonstration of Indigenous preservation techniques!

The M.F Hussain Art Gallery Jamia Millia Islamia University witnessed a huge footfall on August 6th on the occasion of “Islamic and Quranic Arts & Crafts” Exhibition 2015. Iran Culture House, New Delhi and Premchand Archives & Literary Centre of Jamia jointly organized this exhibition.
Dr. Najma A. Heptullah, Minister of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India graced the day to inaugurate the exhibition on August 6, 2015 at 9:30 am in Presence of H.E. Mr. Ghulam Reza Ansari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to New Delhi & Prof. Talat Ahmed the VC of Jamia.
This exhibition showcased live Demonstration of Indigenous preservation techniques .This was basically An Indo-Iranian Enterprise for Preservation and Promotion of Islamic and Quranic Arts & Crafts. This was organized in collaboration with Noor International Microfilm Centre.
The exhibition was conducted between August 14-16, 2015. There are a large number of Caligraphed Quranic Verses, and Crafted Quran Boxes. In This exhibition, there was a unique peace of 19th Century hand written Quran and other religious goods, such as different type of Surah, Verses and full Quran on only one page are available. The Quranic Verses Crafted on Skins. The large number of students, faculties were enjoyed to see this mind blowing calligraphies, arts and crafts.
