The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE)- Hyderabad has released an official notification for ICFAI Tech School Admission Test (ITSAT) examination details on the official website. It is inviting all the interested and eligible candidates to appear for the exam to take admission in its Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programmes for the academic session 2017. ITSAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent with at least 60 percent marks from a recognized board or university with mathematics, chemistry, physics and English as main subjects.
ITSAT 2017 Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination.
ITSAT 2017 Exam pattern
Given below are a few points related to ITSAT 2017 exam pattern-
- The duration of the test is two hours
- The online test will be a computer based test (CBT)
- The offline test will be paper based test (PBT)
- The exam will be conducted in 2-3 sessions per day at test centers all across India
- Both online and offline tests will consist of objective type questions in mathematics, physics, chemistry and English in multiple choice format
- The paper will consist of 30 questions in each subject including physics, chemistry, mathematics and English.

On clicking the link given above, you will need to fill in all the required details including contact details, education qualifications, personal details and others. You will also be required to upload your scanned image. Apart from this, you will need to pay a requisite application fee of INR 700 either through net banking or debit/credit cards or even Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of ‘IFHE A/C ITSAT’ payable at Hyderabad.

ITSAT 2017 Mathematics syllabus
Some of the topics asked in the paper will include sets, relations and functions, sequences and series, mathematical induction, integral calculus, coordinate geometry, permutations and combinations, matrices and determinants, straight lines, circles, conic sections, binomial and its simple applications, mathematical reasoning, vector algebra, statistics, probability, trigonometry, limit continuity and differentiability, etc.
ITSAT 2017 Physics syllabus
The syllabus will consist of two sections namely- Section A- Pertaining to the theory part with 80 percent weightage and Section B- containing practical component (experimental skills) with 20 percent wieghtage.

ITSAT 2017 Chemistry syllabus
Section A- physical chemistry
It will include topics like atomic structure, redox reactions, surface chemistry, equilibrium, solutions, covalent bonding, ionic bonding, chemical thermodynamics, states of matter, molecular structure, etc.
Section B- Inorganic chemistry
It will include topics like classification of elements and periodicity in properties, general principles and processes of isolation of metals, hydrogen, block elements and others.
