Jaipuria College Admission 2017 has started for its all three sifts including morning, day and evening. Also Known as SAJC and Jaipuria College, Seth Anandram Jaipuria College in Kolkata is one of the premier institutions in North Kolkata. The college has three shifts: Morning shift – exclusively for women; Day shift – co-ed and Evening shift – for boys. Apart from regular courses, the college has recently introduced courses in new subjects including Electronics, Journalism and Mass Communication, Psychology, Computer Science and Food & Nutrition. Jaipuria College Admission 2017 for all 15 honours subjects are solely on Merit basis as the college doesn’t conduct any entrance exam.  Apart from brilliant students in academics, the college also produces Sports persons at national and international level.

  • Students who passed 10+2 from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education under old system need to calculate aggregate marks on the basis of marks scored in top five subjects
  • As per the university and government regulations, the college has 22%, 6%, 3%, 10% and 7% seats reserved for SC, ST, PC, OBC-A and OBC-B respectively.
  • It doesn’t offer Alternative English as a subject
  • Seats for Food & Nutrition, Psychology, Geography, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science & Journalism subjects are available on ‘first come first serve’ basis due to limited availability

Jaipuria College Admission 2017 - Courses for Vocational Stream Students

Candidates who completed their Higher Secondary education from vocational stream are allowed to apply only for BA and B.Com general courses. There will be a separate merit list for Jaipuria College Admission 2017 in vocational stream.

Jaipuria College Admission 2017 under Sports Quota

SAJC gives due importance of sports and believes in producing national and international level champions. So the candidates also have a choice of getting admission at Jaipuria College under sports quota. But before applying for admission under this category, just remember the below mentioned points.

  • The candidates must have National Level Certificate in any game (except football) representing West Bengal
  • Those who have played football need to present 'A' division club certificate or district level certificate (W.B)
  • Participation certificate during 10+2 can also be shown
  • Certificates recognized by the relevant sports authority will only be given consideration

Candidates who want to apply under Sports Quota can submit all the required documents from June 12 to June 13, 2017 (11:30 am to 4:30 pm)

They need to first generate their user ID and password by filling a form by using 10+2 Board roll number, Name, Date of Birth and mobile number.
