Final year students of Electrical Department of Jamia Millia Islamia University was given farewell in a grand way. Here is the detail.

The third year students of Electrical Department of Jamia Millia Islamia University hosted a farewell party for their seniors on April 28, 2016.
 
It was a day of remembering and cherishing the old memories that the fourth year students have spent in Jamia. The evening was a jubilant one with a healthy interaction between the seniors and the juniors. There were many events enthralling events organised on the day. The upbeat music made the evening a euphoric one with the active participation of the seniors. The ever energetic performance of Nabeel Ahmad was worth applauding. Also, the performances of the seniors made the evening worth remembering. The cumulative efforts of the juniors made it all happen.
 
 
 
 
The evening was started with an exceptionally motivational session convened by Prof. Majid Jamil, Head of Department of Electrical Engineering, presided by the faculty members and three eminent guests. Prof. Majid Jamil had invited Jawad Ahmad Siddiqui, Chancellor of Al Falah University, Prof. Moinuddin, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Jamia Hamdard University and Mr. Ahsanul Haque, President of Jalandhar Management Association. With the extensive talks on career opportunities and importance of discipline in life, the students seemed to get bolster and appreciated the initiatives taken by Prof. Majid Jamil to invite such eminent personalities
 
 
 
 
At the end, Prof. Jamil presented a memento to Mr. Mohd. Shoeb, who scored 34th rank in GATE exam-2016. HOD informed that 21 students of the current batch have qualified GATE exam this year and most of them have been placed in reputed organizations.
 
He congratulated all the students for their achievements and wished them good luck and pray for a peaceful life with all success in future.  Also, Ms. Munshareh Shafaq, a senior, shared her beautiful and memorable experience in Jamia. She was overwhelmed by the teachings and the knowledge she had acquired from Jamia and was indebted to the efforts made by the professors of the Department to make the dreams come true. Prof. Mini S Thomas wished the seniors good luck for the new journey they will soon embark and hoped to be in touch with them. Prof. A.Q. Ansari was delighted to see the cheerful faces of the seniors and shared his experience with them.
