About JEE Advanced College Predictor

With JEE Advanced College Predictor, HTCampus is addressing the concerns of JEE Advanced test seekers holistically. Erstwhile IIT- JEE, JEE (Advanced) is your ticket to enrolments into the juggernaut that we call Indian Institute of Technology. With the lowest intake rate in the world, JEE Advanced is probably the hardest nut to crack. As such, candidates have an obvious concern for their enrolments into an IIT campus and engineering discipline of their choosing in the post-examination scenario. Here, JEE Advanced College Predictor comes to the picture. The feature rich tool is specifically designed to help candidates identify their college and specialisation options, conveniently, creatively and accurately.

About JEE Advanced 2017

JEE is an annual intake exam conducted by CBSE for technical education aspirants at India level. The exam consists of two parts namely - JEE Main and JEE Advanced. All technical colleges, such as NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, merit valid JEE Main scores for enrolments. However, IITs are an exception to the norm, as they require the candidate to sit for JEE Advanced and perform well. The student’s academic performance in the senior secondary exam and JEE Main decide his candidature for JEE Advanced.

For enrolments into IITs, candidates have to attend a centralised counselling conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority, more often referred to as JoSAA. The admission authority will allocate the IIT campus and engineering discipline to students, as per their All India Rankings. The JEE Advanced exam is conducted typically in the month of May by one of the 23 IITs on a round robin rotation pattern. For the current year, the coveted intake exam will take place on    21st May 2017 in morning and evening sessions. Candidates can expect results tentatively by 11th June 2017, which is in line with CBSE’s annual schedule.

The number of colleges and students participating in JoSAA counselling is progressive with each passing year. The increasing competition along with knowledge deficit pervading among students may force them to settle for less. To change the status quo for such students, HTCampus is unleashing JEE Advanced College Predictor. With the progressive tool, scanning available college and specialisation options from the confines of your home is a living reality. Additionally, you are at liberty to predict a technical institute in the desired state. However, the tool works only in the post result scenario, as entering a valid AIR is a requisite.
