JEE 2017 Important Dates - JEE Advanced 2017 important dates have been announced for the JEE Advanced 2017 exam that will be conducted by IIT Madras under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2017. The exam is conducted to grant admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs and the ISM. The decisions of the JAB 2017 will be final in all matters related to JEE Advanced 2017 and admission to IITs and ISM.

The JEE Advanced 2017 important dates include the schedule of the application form, admit card download, entrance exam, answer key release, declaration of results, seat allotment and counselling.

JEE Advanced 2017 will be the secondary stage of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and only the candidates who clear the JEE Main 2017 exam will be eligible to appear for this national level examination. Aspirants clearing this exam can seek admissions in the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and ISM, Dhanbad.

The JEE Advanced 2017 will be the base for admission to the following programmes in Engineering, Architecture, Science and Pharmaceutics in the IITs:

  • 4-year Bachelors: B.Tech, B.S., B.Pharm
  • 5-year Bachelors: B.Arch
  • 5-year Dual Degree: B.Tech, M.Tech, B.S., M.S.
  • 5-year Integrated Masters: M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Pharm dual degree

Eligibility criteria:

The candidates are required to fulfil the below mentioned eligibility criterion:

  • Should be among the 2,20,000 students in JEE Main 2017
  • Should be born on or after October 1, 1992
  • Should not have appeared in JEE Advanced in 2015 or earlier
  • Should have appeared in class 12 exam for the first time in 2016 or 2017
  • Should not have accepted admission at any of the IITs earlier
