JEE Main 2018 admit card is an important document that candidates need to produce at JEE Main exam failing which they will not be allowed to take admission in to the exam hall.

JEE Main 2018 Admit Card is one of the important documents of JEE Main exam that candidates need to carry to the exam centre. Those who won’t carry the admit card will be barred from taking the exam. The Central Board of School Education (CBSE) – the exam conducting body – will release the JEE Main admit card tentatively in the second week of March 2018. Once CBSE puts the link to download JEE Main admit card live on the official website, candidates who have filled in JEE Main application forms without any errors and successfully registered on the website while depositing the JEE main application fee will be able to download and access admit card for JEE Main.

In order to download JEE Main 2018 Admit Card, candidates have to register on the official website and submit the important details like application number, Date of birth, and security pint. Once the candidates are able to access JEE Main admit card, they are advised to download, save and take a printout of the same for further references until the JEE Main 2018 admission process is over. An Admit Card for JEE Main will contain all the necessary information of the candidate like the name, exam centre, date, time, address etc. Also, along with the JEE Main admit card, candidates need to carry an identity proof to the exam centre.

Besides this, the candidates are also requested to check all the details before downloading JEE Main 2018 admit card. The exam is expected to be held in the month April 2018 to shortlist candidates NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.  Besides this, JEE Main also acts as a qualifying exam for candidates who aspire to attempt JEE Advanced 2018. In 2017 JEE Main exam, 1, 59,540 students qualified for the JEE Advanced exam, which is held for admission to IITs. The total number of candidates who qualified for JEE Advanced 2017 was 50455.

JEE Main 2018 Admit Card: Steps to Download

Downloading JEE Main 2018 admit card is easy. All that candidates have to do is to follow some easy, quick, effective and time-saving steps mentioned hereunder. However, before candidates to this, the fact worth mentioning is that candidates who have successfully registered for the JEE Main exam will only be able to access and downloaded JEE Main admit cards

  • Candidates need to reach out to the official website jeemain.nic.in/ and login with the credentials generated at the time of JEE Main registration process.
  • JEE Main admit card will only be available to download once the link for the same on the official website of the exam is activated.
  • Once the CBSE activates the link to download admit cards for JEE Main 2018, candidates need to enter JEE Main 2018 application number, date of birth and security pin.
  • Once done, now click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  • Candidates will be able to see the JEE Main 2018 admit card on the screen.

  • The first and the foremost thing that candidates need is an identity proof.
  • Candidates who have passed 12th or equivalent exam in the year 2016-2017 but have not opted for the improvements need to produce the copy of their final marks sheet.
  • Candidates who have passed 12th exam in 2016-17 and have opted for the improvements in all subjects, need to produce a copy of their admit card hall ticket for the improvement of performance in 12th class qualifying examination in the year 2018.
