The JEE Main 2017 (paper based test) is scheduled to be conducted on 2nd April, 2017 and (computer based test) on 8th and 9th April, 2017.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an official notification regarding the IIT JEE Main Exam 2017, to be held on 2nd April, 2017 (paper based test) and 8th and 9th April, 2017 (computer based test).

Admit cards for the exam have been released on 14th March, 2017. Find information regarding the JEE Main 2017 Admit Cards here.

The notice released by CBSE stated that there is change and correction in the venue for the online (Computer based) JEE Main 2017 examination scheduled to take place on 8th and 9th April, 2017. The rectified address is below:

NOTE: Candidates must note that the revised, corrected admit cards will be made available on the official website from 21st March, 2017 onwards.

The CBSE has provided two links to download admit cards on its official website. This has been done to reduce and counter the rush on the official website.

JEE Main 2017 exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to its undergraduate engineering programme and courses in NITs, IITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions.


Candidates who clear the JEE Main 2017 exam will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam. Students will be admitted in colleges on the basis of their performance in these two exams.
