JEE Main Expected Cutoff by Plancess

JEE Main 2018 Expected Cutoff by Plancess- Plancess will release JEE Main Expected Cutoff once the biggest entrance test for engineering is conducted by CBSE. The idea behind introducing JEE Main Expected Cutoff by Plancess is to give JEE aspirants an estimate of the cutoff marks for the JEE Main. The cutoff is the minimum marks required to clear the entrance test. This implies, the aspirants will have to score marks equal to or more than the cutoff marks in order to be eligible for the JEE Main counselling and seat allotment. The process is conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) in 6 rounds for 31 NITs, 20 IIITs and 18 GFTIs, which are the participating institutes of JEE Main test. JEE Main 2018 will be held in the month of April 2018.

Use JEE Main Rank Predictor to know about your expected rank and colleges & courses you can get.

Famous for being one of the best places for the IIT/JEE aspirants, Plancess is an institute of high repute where a large number of candidates enroll themselves every year to improve their problem-solving capabilities. The JEE Main Expected Cutoff by Plancess is compiled by the expert faculty at the institute and made available to the candidates to predict their chances of getting into one of the premier engineering intuitions in India. However, the cutoff marks released by the institute should not be considered final, as the final consideration will be given to the official cutoff announced by CBSE.

The institute releases the cutoff marks separately for different categories, i.e., General, SC, ST, and OBC. The candidates must score equal to or higher than the cutoff marks as per their category to get in the counselling round. A rough estimate calculated based on figures from JEE Main Expected Cutoff by Plancess and answer keys, the aspirants can closely predict the cutoff details and engineering institutions they might get enrolled in to.

The unofficial cutoff comes days ahead of the official declaration of the final cutoff of JEE Main by the exam conducting body. A number of factors like difficulty level of the test and overall performance of the candidates in the JEE Main exam are taken into account while calculating the JEE Main Expected Cutoff by Plancess. The JEE Main exam will take place in both offline as well as online mode in the month of April 2018. And, the expected cutoff will be released soon after the conclusion of the entrance test. The expected cutoff will give the entrants an early insight into the rank list and their footing in the list. Out of 12 lack or more candidates appearing in the exam every year, only 2 lakh are selected for JEE Advanced.

The table listed above clearly indicates a constant decline in JEE Main Cutoff for the last three years. According to the experts, this trend is a probable outcome of the increased pool of JEE Advanced. In 2015, only 1.5 lakh top candidates from JEE Main were selected for JEE Advanced 2015, whereas the number increased by 50,000 to make it 2,00,000 in the year 2016.
