Candidates can check upcoming important dates for the JEE Main exam like admit card (14th Mar), entrance test date (April 2nd,8th,9th), result date (Apirl 27th) etc. here!

JEE Main 2017 important dates are the dates associated with all the crucial events related with JEE Main 2017 exam. The important dates for JEE Main 2017 have been announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on JEE Main 2017 official website.

IIT Madras will be conducting JEE Main 2017 exam in offline mode on April 2, 2017 for both Paper 1 & Paper 2.

Only Paper 1 is conducted in online mode and it is scheduled for April 8 and April 9, 2017.

JEE Main Paper 1 is conducted for candidates who wish to pursue B.E and B.Tech courses. On the other hand, Paper 2 is taken by those who wish to enrol in B. Arch and B. Planning programmes.

The registrations for JEE Main 2017 started on December 1 and ended on January 16, 2017.

JEE Main is the first stage of the examination taken by engineering aspirants for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and other Government-Funded Technical Institutes in India. In the year 2016, more than 13 lakh candidates participated in the national-level exam for admission to 18 IITs, 31 NITs, 18 GFTIs.
