JEE Main 2018 Information Brochure has been released online now. The online registration for JEE Main 2018 will be started from 01 December 2018.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the information brochure of JEE Main 2018 revealing all the important information regarding the exam. The online registration for the same will be commenced from 01 December 2017 and candidates will be able to submit JEE Main 2018 Application form till 01 January 2018.  The online application forms will be released on the official website of JEE Main 2018, (www.jeemain.nic.in). Every aspirant should have an Adhaar Card in order to validate their identity. Candidates have to fill the Aadhaar number, name, date of birth & gender in the application form. Candidates who have not received their Aadhaar card but have 28 digits Aadhaar Enrolment ID can fill the details. Mentioning the Aadhaar card details is mandatory for all students except candidates belonging to J&K, Assam & Meghalaya. Changes in JEE Main 2018

There are a few modifications that a candidate can encounter while filling the application form. These changes are mentioned below.

  • The total number of examination centres has been increased. In 2017, the total number of centres was 113 however; the number has been increased to 258. The total number of centres where pen & paper based exam will be held is 111 and number of centres where CBT exam will be held is 258.
  • Now, candidates will have to upload the scanned copy of Parent’s or Guardian’s signature in the specified dimension.
  • The number of participating institutes has been reduced as 03 IIITs are not participating in the exam.
  • 02 CFTIs have been included in the list of participating institutes.

According to the JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2018, candidates should have passed Class 12th Exam or equivalent exam in 2016 or 2017 and those who are appearing in 2018 are also eligible to apply online. Alongside, candidates should be born on or after October 01, 1993. If you are eligible and want to get admission in engineering courses then fill the online registration form before the last date.
