JEMAT 2017 Application process

Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) 2017 is a state level conducted by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUTWB) on behalf of the West Bengal Government. This exam is conducted for admission to various Postgraduate programmes approved by AICTE and offered by both government and private Management Schools in West Bengal.

JEMAT 2017 Selection Procedure

The exam is conducted every year in the month of July and September/ October. The written exam is followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and a round of Personal Interview (PI). Final selection will be done on the basis of the performance in JEMAT, GD and PI.

JEMAT 2017 Application Process

The application process for JEMAT 2017 will start in the month of June. Candidates who wish to apply for the exam can follow these steps-

  • Visit
  • Now go to the box that has all the Admission related links
  • Click on the tab that says 'Admission Forms
  • Candidates can  download their admit cards from the official website
  • The completed application form has to be sent to the university office along with the examination fee

JEMAT 2017 Examination Fees

The examination fee is INR 800 for general category candidates and INR 400 for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH category candidates. The examination fees need to be paid via Demand Draft drawn in favour of West Bengal University of Technology payable at Kolkata.
