Mr. Saurabh Jain, Dy. Divisional Manager Ahmedabad (FINCARE DISHA) throws lights on the concept ‘Organisational Culture’.
After entering the corporate world the first thing which the budding Managers need to understand is the culture of an organisation with whom they have to work with so that they can adapt and mould themselves as per the culture of that organisation. For enhancing the knowledge of the aspiring managers, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore welcomed Mr. Saurabh Jain-Dy. Divisional Manager at FINCARE DISHA for the guest session on ‘Organisational Culture’ for batch 2016-18 which was coordinated by Miss Prabha Tiwari, Dr. Manisha Shukla and Prof.Arindham Saha.
Mr. Jain asked students about their knowledge and understandings by the term Organisational Culture. He then explained that organizational culture is a system of shared values and beliefs which governs how people behave in an organization which is having a strong influence on the workforce in the organization and also it dictates how they dress, act, and perform their jobs. He also emphasised on the style of working, floating of information’s from superior to subordinates and subordinates to superior because every organisation is having its own norms, rules & regulations.
He addressed that bringing a change in an organisation is a tough task because people resist to change as they find it risky as they are having a fear of losing their jobs hence, training of the workforce is the most important part which needs to be highly focused so as to make them comfortable by the modern technologies which will encourage them to accept the change and this will result in development of an organisation.
Mr. Saurabh Jain further talked about his company’s recruitment in profiles of the banking sector as well as Micro Finance. He elaborated the culture of his company- Fincare which made the session interesting and the students at last raised their questions and queries which were very well answered by the respective guest
