At Styles and Trends various trendy, conspicuous designs created by the students of JIMS Rohini, Department of Fashion Design, were displayed.

The annual fashion show Styles and Trends 2016 of  Jagannath Institute of Management and Science was delighted as the top models and CEO’s from fashion industries commemorated the evening on March 31, 2016.
 
At Styles and Trends various trendy, conspicuous designs created by the students of JIMS Rohini, Department of Fashion Design, were displayed by models.
 
Jims annual fashion show began with a sequence inspired from buddhism’Sacred Devotion’. It was the transformation of creative ideas and design concept of young students. Designers of JIMS presented many a scintillating creations based on the themes such as ‘sequins and sangria’, ‘tribal prop’, ‘sposa’ and many more.
 
 
 
 
Style and Trends 2016
 
Renowned personalities from the fashion industry, FDCI choreographers, fashion and accessory designers from the capital assembled at styles and trends. The collection showcased by the students manifested a mix of Pret a Porter and Haute Couture.
 
 
 
 
 
The collection of designers denoted beauty, purity, clarity and royalty. The colourful dresses on display were designed using various fabric like silk, crepe, chiffon, georgette, velvet, net etc. The designs were an outcome of experiment colour palette, silhouettes and fabrics. These were judged by fashion gurus under four major categories like ‘best designer’, ‘most creative designer’, ‘most commercial viable garment’ and ‘most sparkling collection’. 
 
The jury members including designers Bharat and Reshma, designer Sonia Jetleey, designer Manish Gupta, designer Anuradha Raman and designer Joy Mitra joudged the fasion works.

Moreover known faces like Ms. Rita Gangwani, Dr.Varun Katyal, Ms. Avleen Khokar and Mr.Krishan Tiwari were among the guest of honor.
 
India’s leading personalities had choreographed these beautiful sequences. The event was supported by Mere dilli, La fiesta, Bonzai 5D, Penny Jewels, VLCC Institute, Rohit Dhingra, Fashion Photographer and Jurasik Park.
