Candidates belonging to the general category should have a minimum of 55 percent marks in aggregate whereas SC/SC/OBC candidates, as per the government norms, get 5 percent relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.

Seats to the candidates in the JNAFAU Ph.D Programme will be allocated based on their performance in the Ph.D Eligibility Entrance Test (PEET) and interview that university conducts.
Candidates who have already cleared the UGC-CSIR/NET/Gate examination are exempted from the written test and will directly be admitted to the programmes based on their performance in the interview.
