Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (KPGCET) 2012 is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for students seeking admission to full time or part time Master of Engineering (M.E.), Master of Technology (M.Tech.), Master of Architecture (M.Arch.), Masters in Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses in professional educational institutions in Karnataka for the academic session 2012 – 2013.

Eligibility for KPGCET 2012

Eligibility criteria for full time and part time M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., MCA and MBA courses is different.

Eligibility for full time M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / MCA/ MBA Courses

  • You should have valid GATE score.
  • You should have scored minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in bachelor’s degree from a recognised University.

Eligibility for part time M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / MCA/ MBA Courses

  • You should have scored minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in bachelor’s degree from a recognised University.

Application Procedure for KPGCET 2012

  • You can apply for KPGCET 2012 by sending a request for KPGCET 2012 application form through speed post with a self-addressed 25 cm x 30 cm cloth lined envelop with Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST) drawn in favour of “The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority”, payable at Bangalore to

  • If you want to apply for more than 1 course, you have to apply separately for each course.
