KCET Application Form 2018- Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has issued the application form of KCET 2018 on 01 February. Candidates need to submit the applications till 26 February 2018. However, the last date to submit the application fee is 28 February 2018. It is necessary for every candidate to know about the eligibility criteria prescribed by the exam conducting authority to filter the eligible candidates from the ineligible ones. So, it is mandatory for the aspirants to have an idea of the eligibility norms set regarding KCET 2018. Karnataka Common Entrance Test is a state level entrance examination which will be conducted on 18 & 19 April 2018 to select suitable candidates for undergraduate courses in various colleges across the state of Karnataka. The application form filling process of Karnataka CET 2018 includes registration, entering personal and academic particulars, paying the application fee and submitting it. The application form is now available that candidates have to submit with application fee and mandatory documents before the last date. In case any mistakes were found in the application form even after submitting it, the exam conducting authority may or may not provide a facility to make the corrections in the application form of KCET 2018. KCET Application Form Filling 2018

To fill up the KCET application 2018 successfully, candidates have to follow certain steps mentioned here.

Registration is the first and foremost step to be completed by the candidate to start the process of application form filling.

  • Go to the official website of KCET 2018, click on “New User?” and “Click Here to Register”
  • Read the instructions carefully and proceed further by clicking on “Proceed to Apply Online”
  • Select nationality and School Board. (Only Indian citizens are eligible for the test and the candidates should have taken Karnataka 2nd PUC Annual Exam 2018).
  • Enter the 13 digits “Student Number” PUE Department
  • Click on “Submit” Button. By completing the process of registration, the student can apply further for the test.

Note: On successful registration, aspirants will be sent an Application Number and User-ID on their registered mobile numbers and email ID. The computer screen will also display the application number and the candidates can pen it down.

Log In & Filling the KCET Application Form 2018

Right after registration, candidates must log in using the KCET application number and password provided by the authority to fill up the application form. Fill up all the information asked on the form. Later, the candidates will be directed to ‘Student Information’ page. Enter the following details in the appropriate space to go further to fill up the form.

Uploading Photograph & Signature in the KCET application form 2018

Once the candidates clicked on ‘Save and Next’ button, they must upload the documents required to be uploaded in the application form of KCET 2018. It is mandatory to upload the documents as per the size specifies and in format prescri9bed by the authority.

Instructions about Photograph and Signature

  • Capital letters in the signature are prohibited.
  • Photographs should be colored one with white background in jpg/jpeg format only. No other format will be accepted by the authority.
  • The signature should be done with blue/black pen and thumb impression with blue or black ink.
  • Thumb impression shouldn’t be smudged.

After successfully uploading photograph and digital copies of signature and thumb impression, applicants should pay the KCET application fee, which can only be paid via offline mode (Through Bank Challan or Demand Draft).

Bank Challan- If candidates are planning to pay the application fee via Bank Challan; they have to download challan after selecting their bank. The applicants can pay KCET application fee at branches of State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, Indian Bank or e-Post Offices.

Demand Draft- those candidates who are from outside India can pay the application fee which can be drawn in favor of "Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority", payable at Bangalore

Guidelines if Forgotten KCET 2018 Password

If an applicant forgets the password, they must click on ‘Forgot Password’ link and click on the link to create a new password. Enter the following details to create a new password:

  • User ID
  • KCET Application Number
  • Secret Question
  • Answer and enter the security code
  • Click on Submit button
  • Create New Password
  • After clicking the submit button, the candidate will be directed to a new window of ‘Create Password’
  • Enter the User ID and the KCET 2018 application number
  • Enter the new password
  • Click on change password button
  • The new password will be sent to candidate's registered email ID and mobile number.

KCET Application Form 2018 Submission and Printout

As a final step, the candidates must submit their application form and must take a print out of the same for future references. It is mandatory for each candidate to check the information furnished on the application form. Once, the information entered seems to be true to your best knowledge, and then you can proceed and submit the application.

The successfully completed application form should be downloaded and get it attested by Principal of the class 12th or PU of the institute/school/college studied or where the candidate is currently studying or by any Gazetted Officer.

Note: The candidates should get the application form attested as it is mandatory otherwise; the applicant will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Keep 2-3 copies of the application form along with the original attested copy which have to submit at the time of counselling along with all other documents needed for verification.
