KIIT University will host workshop on ‘Intelligent Tools in Smart Grid (ITGS – 2016)’ in June.
KIIT University is set to host a self – sponsored national workshop on ‘Intelligent Tools in Smart Grid (ITGS – 2016)’ between June 7 and 11, 2016.
The workshop will be conducted by School of Electrical Engineering, Kalinga institute of industrial Technology. The national workshop will focus on emerging trends in power systems. The various topics that will be covered during the workshop include:
- Deregulated Energy Market (DEM)
- Smart Grid (SG)
- Restructured Power System (RPS)
- Power System Stability (PSS)
- Practical challenges to overcome the practical difficulties
This workshop is open to faculty members, researchers and PG students. Academicians from NIT, Durgapur, IIT, reputed Universities and experts from Industry will deliver the speech during the workshop. There are both theory and practical sessions and hands-on practice will be in simulation laboratories.
Fifty participants can be accommodated. It is open to all other colleges/ Universities. The registration fee for each participant is INR 300.
