Grand finale of the national innovation contest, scheduled for 30th of January, 2016 in Pune, will see top teams present prototypes of their solutions in energy and transportation
KPIT Technologies, a global technology company specializing in IT consulting and product engineering, announced that KPIT Sparkle 2016 —an annual national design and development innovation contest — received 1,700 ideas from over 10,000 engineering and science students across 500 colleges in India. Top shortlisted teams will exhibit their solutions through scales models and working prototypes at the grand finale scheduled for January 30th 2016, at COEP College ground, Pune.
KPIT Sparkle 2016, in association with College of Engineering, Pune, aims at fostering a culture of innovation and critical thinking among engineering and science students across colleges in India. This year’s theme for KPIT Sparkle 2016 is ‘Smart Solutions for Energy and Transportation’ and the best ideas stand to win prizes worth INR 21.5 Lakhs.
Some of the 350 ideas selected for the second round included Green Energy, New Fuels & Materials, Autonomous Vehicles and Intelligent Traffic Management.
