IGNOU has designed an internship for Library and Information Science students for two months.
Indira Gandhi National Open University conducted a walk-in interview for Library and Information Science Internship on March 22, 2016.
The Internship is for two months with a stipend of INR 10, 000 per month for assigning/editing metadata and INR 15,000 per month for supervisors.
The work relates to indexing of metadata for e-content portal of INFLIBNET, eAcharya. The work will be carried out in the IGNOU Head Quarters, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi.
Total ten positions are available for the internship. This internship is designed for all Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) and Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) pass outs from IGNOU are eligible for the internship.
