The Mahindra War Room Season 8 was flagged on 15th July, 2015 instilling a sense of enthusiasm in the students of Symbiosis Institute of Management, Pune
The launch of Mahindra’s “War Room” that kicked off on 15th July, 2015 is a strategy contest for students to demonstrate their academic, social, business and fundraising skills to judges over the course of six months at the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune is a competition based on the Mahindra Group's "War Room" practice to position the Mahindra Group as a global alliance of diverse businesses united by the brand, purpose, values, and culture that it represents.
Mr. Prince Augustin, Executive Vice President, Group Human Capital and Leadership Development, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd highlighted the difference in Season 8 of the War-Room by pointing out that Mahindra is a story of possibilities & therefore the theme of ‘Infinite Possibilities’ this year will help them connect with the Group’s aspiration of being a part of the Top 50 Most Admired Global Brand.
Previous year winners from SIBM, Pune advised the students of MBA 2015-17 batch that they shall consider feasibility and implementation structure of the outcome along with enthusiastically participating in the caselet that will be brought in action in the near future.
The winners will be awarded the following prizes:
- Grand Finale, Winner Prize: Rs. 5.00 Lakhs (Team) + Centuro Motorcycle (Individual) + Mahindra Holiday Package (Individual)
- Grand Finale, Runner-Up Prize: Rs. 2.50 Lakhs (Team) + Mahindra Holiday Package (Individual)*
- Preferential Recruitment Process (PRP): Winners and Runners-up at the Grand Finale to be offered PRP (Preferential Recruitment Process) of GMC Selection.
