Mangalayatan University as NATA centre will be beneficial for those students who are aspiring to become Architecture as they have more choices to appear for the test'!

Here is a good news for the aspirants of NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) from Aligarh, Agra, Mathura, Hathras and nearby region that Council of Architecture has approved Mangalayatan University as one of its test centres for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). Now, students from Aligarh, Agra, Mathura, Hathras and nearby region can attempt NATA at the University.
 
Till now Agra and Mathura had only three test centres for NATA. This will be beneficial for those students who are aspiring to become Architecture as they have more choices to appear for the test'. Till now Agra and Mathura had only three test centres for NATA.
 
Council is conducting NATA every year for admissions in B.Arch. programmes in different Universities and Colleges. It is mandatory for every student to pass Aptitude Test to secure admission in B.Arch. programme along with 50% marks in 12th standard examination with maths.
 
'Now, 10th pass out students fulfilling the criteria can enrol them for NATA and can give online test up-to August 21, 2015. The score card is valid for 2 years. NATA is a central admission process like IIT-JEE.
 
Prospective students who already have NATA scorecard of 40% and above (actual scoring min. 80/200) are eligible to apply. Those who have not given NATA test yet, they must register at www.nata.in . 
 
‘After registration students can take online Mock Test to ascertain their preparation. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability', Prof. Deshmukh added.
