Mangalayatan University Joins Hands with Bajaj Auto for industry-Academia Development

Vice President of Mangalayatan University accepts Bajaj Auto’s offer for industry-academia collaboration.

Mangalayatan University takes a step forward for development of Industry-academia by collaborating with Bajaj Group's flagship company Bajaj Auto. The university’s VP D. V. Ranganath had recently accepted the offer of Bajaj Auto Limited which assured its services.
In a meeting with Prof. Saish Chand Jain, Vice Chanceller and Prof. P. S. Siwach, Pro- Vice Chanceller of the University, Mr. Ranganath said that through the collaboration Bajaj Auto will offer its training facility at its three plants to students and faculty members of Engineering and Management streams of the University. He also agreed to provide expertise and professional support to enhance quality in training and curricular improvement of the University in synchronization with the changing demands of the industry.
It will be a great opportunity for the university to collaborate with the country’s one of the top ranked and world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Group. Bajaj Auto owns three plants, two at Waluj (Ahmedabad) and Chakan (Pune) in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar n Uttaranchal. "We will conduct sessions for students through Video Conferencing and assign projects to students and faculty members too." Ranganath briefed. The authorities are expectant that the collaboration will help in long run and will prove to be a milestone for the organizations in achieving the national development through academia-industry tie-up.
