“Master Chinese Chef Competition” at Amity School of Hospitality

Competition of food preparation was held in the food production labs of Amity school of Hospitality


Amity School of Hospitality with Axiom Travel Services – China Tourism has organized “Master Chinese Chef Competition” for various institutes. The Competition was held on October 16, 2015 at Amity campus, sector 125 Noida. The tile of the competition is “Master Chinese Chef Competition.

The competition was very challenging as well as imparted an excellent opportunity to learners for showing their talent and skills also food and tourism connects both countries said by Prof. (Dr.) M Sajnani. 12 teams participated in the competition in which few names of the institutes are mentioned below:

The opening ceremony of the competition is noticed by the Mr. Li Qianguo, Director – China National Tourist Office; Mr. Niu Zhen,China National Tourist Office; Ms. Li Xue, China National Tourist Office; Mr. Raman Kapoor, Vice President, Eximius; Mr. Sandeep Singh, Business Head, Axiom.

On addressing participants Mr. Li Qianguo, Director – China National Tourist Office said that from last few decades tourism in china has excel its wings and played a vital role in the growth of hospitality industry. He remarked that India and China both are the land of colours, biodiversity and multi cuisine. He further added that Chinese Food is one of the main attractions of tourism. He stressed that food is an essential part of Chinese culture.

The competition was took place in the food production labs of Amity school of Hospitality, where budding chefs prepared various dishes from eight recognized culinary styles of  Chinese cuisine, which include Jiangsu cuisine; Sichuan cuisine; Hunon cuisine; Fujian cuisine; Zhejiang cuisine; Shandog cuisine; Anhui cuisine and Guangdong cuisine.
