MAT 2018 Application Form

MAT Application Form 2018 – AIMA has reopened the MAT 2018 registration for May paper based exam as it is being organized again for the respective attempt. This is the first time that MAT PBT will be conducted for the second time for a particular attempt. Generally, this management entrance exam is held 4 times in a year – in February, May, September and December. For every attempt, this test is organized once in offline mode and once in computer based mode. The paper based test for MAT 2018 May has already been held on 6 May and now again will be conducted on 20 May 2018 along with the computer based test (CBT). The candidates interested in taking MAT 2018 May in paper based test can submit the MAT 2018 application form for the same till 14 May, while the last date to apply for CBT mode is 12 May 2018. However, it must be noted that the candidates who have already appeared for the MAT PBT May 2018 on 6 May cannot register for the second PBT exam.

MAT 2018 application form is available online on the official website, and also a link to access the form has been given below. The form can be obtained only in online mode. Candidates can take MAT exam either in pen-paper mode on online mode or both. The application fee for MAT registration for one mode is INR. 1550, while for both the modes, it is INR. 2650. The candidates will have to create a login by filling details such as their name, date of birth, email id and mobile number for obtaining the MAT application form 2018. Once the login credentials will be generated, they will have to login to fill the form as an already registered user.

Latest AIMA to conduct paper based test again along with CBT for MAT May 2018 on 20 May. Registrations also reopened for PBT till 14 May, while candidates can register for CBT till 12 May 2018. Scroll down to register for the test and to download the admit card.  

The candidates having Bachelor's degree in any discipline, passed with minimum 50% aggregate marks and are interested in pursuing post-graduation in Management can appear for Management Aptitude Test (MAT). The score of MAT May 2018 will be accepted by over 100 Colleges/Universities such as Manipal University, Amity University, Jagannath University, and ITM University etc. Applicants are suggested to go through the MAT 2018 eligibility norms given by AIMA to appear for the exam before they begin with MAT 2018 application form filling. 

MAT 2018 Application Form

Management Aptitude Test 2018 is a national level management entrance test approved by Ministry of HRD in 2003. Any B-School- in India or abroad can consider MAT Score for granting admission to MBA/PGDM and allied programmes. However, to use the score of this entrance test, the Management Institutes are required to register with AIMA and seek its permission. 

As mentioned before, the candidates can apply either for one mode or both as per their choice. The candidates opting for both PBT and CBT will have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutions for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutions i.e. they can select 7 Management Institutions in total.

Are you eligible to register for MAT 2018?

Before applying for MAT 2018 May, the applicants are advised to go through the eligibility norms. Failure in meeting these will lead to disqualification of candidature at a later stage. AIMA has set the following eligibility criteria to appear for this management entrance exam - 

  • Candidate must have done Graduation in any subject
  • Final year students of graduate courses can also apply but they have to submit their documents within the specified time
  • There is no age limit for the candidate
  • Work experience is not compulsory

To initiate the MAT registration process 2018, the candidates need to visit the official website of AIMA or access the direct link given above. They will have to create a student login account by entering certain basic details.

Prerequisites for MAT Application Form 2018

The candidates must arrange for below-given things before commencing with application form filling of MAT 2018 –

  • Valid email id and mobile number.
  • Jot down your academic details including the marks obtained.
  • Work experience details.
  • Scanned image of photograph and signature in prescribed format and size.
  • Arrange for application fee payment.

Guidelines for MAT 2018 Online Registration

  • Click on ‘Online registration’ tab under the Quick Link table on the official website or access the direct link given on this page. 
  • Login to complete the MAT 2018 registration process online
  • Fill all the personal and educational details asked in the form
  • Upload the scanned image of candidate’s photo and signature. Specifications for uploading the images are explained above in this article.
  • Test centre should be filled from the drop-down menu given in application form of MAT.
  • After filling the form, review it once as an option to edit the same will not be provided after its submission.
  • In the case of any modifications before submission, click on the reset button and make the changes.
  • After the successful registration, an auto-generated application no. will appear on the screen, candidates are required to note this for the future reference.
  • Save the submitted MAT 2018 application form for the future requirement and also take a print out of the same.
  • If the payment is done through DD, take the print out of the MAT Registration Form with auto-generated Registration No. with attached photograph and signed by the candidate.
  • The candidate is required to send the original DD along with registration form of MAT exam within five working days to complete the application process.'
  • Mention your name, auto-generated registration number and purpose on the back of DD to track it easily.

MAT Application Form 2018 – Acknowledgement by AIMA

All the filled-in Forms received at AIMA will be processed within five days and All such forms will be scrutinized. Candidates can check their receipt status of MAT application form on the official website as form number of received forms will be made available. If Print out of forms will be received later than the due date, will be rejected and the fee will not be refunded to the candidate.

MAT 2018 Application Form - Key Points to be kept in mind

  • While making payment through debit card or net banking, the candidate has to provide some details from the card. Therefore, keep the card with you at the time of registration.
  • If the candidate is paying through demand draft, then keep the demand draft with you while registering online of MAT 2018 to fill certain details from the Demand Draft.
  • Send the filled MAT 2018 application form along with demand draft to AIMA as it will not be accepted otherwise.

MAT Admit Card 2018

Admit card of the candidates will be made available after the conclusion of MAT application process. MAT 2018 admit card of May attempt for paper based test was released on 28 April and for CBT, it will be available from 12 May 2018. Candidates who will successfully register for the exam within the scheduled time will only be able to access their admit card. Candidates can get the admit card by entering the MAT application form number on the website of AIMA.
