MAT Eligibility Criteria

MAT 2017 Eligibility CriteriaMAT 2017 or Management Aptitude Test is one of the most sought-after competitive examinations in India for securing admission to business schools in India and abroad. It is a national level examination for students seeking an admission to MBA (Master of Business Administration), PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) and related courses.

MAT exam is conducted by AIMA or All India Management Association or as per the guidance of the Government of India. It is conducted every year in February, May, September and December.

MAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate should be a graduate or equivalent in any discipline from any recognized university.
  • Candidates in their final year of graduate courses in any discipline can appear for the exam provisionally.
  • Most universities or institutions have minimum percentage criteria. Therefore, candidates can check the details about the same on individual webpages of institutions/universities on htcampus.com.

Candidates, who suffice the eligibility criteria as mentioned, may register themselves for the upcoming MAT examination in May. The registration process and application forms will be available on the official website of AIMA in the first week of March, 2017 and the registration process will conclude in 28th April 2017. The application form fee will be INR 1,400 and can be paid online though debit cards/ credit cards/ net bankingas or by sending a demand draft of the application fee to AIMA, New Delhi.

MAT 2017 (May) will be held on 7th May 2017 for paper-based test and 13th May 2017 onwards for computer-based test in different time slots. The examination will be of 150 minutes and will consist of 200 questions, each carrying 1 mark.

Applicants will need to download their admit card from the official website of AIMA before the date of examination. Admit Cards will be made available on the wesbite on or after 28th April 2017.
