Maharashtra Common Entrance Test- Medical (MH CET) is scheduled to be conducted on 5th May 2016.
The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) is the conducting body of MH CET. The notification for the exam has been released on its official website.
MH CET Medical exam is a medium through which candidates are shortlisted for admission into approximately 3,000 Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) seats in the government and government aided medical colleges in the state of Maharashtra.
The MH CET Medical 2016 exam registration will tentatively start from March 2016. An information brochure containing specific application instructions and other relevant details can be downloaded once it is available on the official website of DMER.
MH CET Medical exam is conducted in a pen and paper format. The exam pattern of MH CET consists of multiple choice questions and the students are tested on the basis of their knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The exam paper consists of 200 multiple choice questions with 100 questions from the Biology and 50 questions each from Physics and Chemistry.
The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) has a set of eligibility criteria for the aspiring candidates. Candidates born on or before 31st December 1999 are eligible to apply for the examination. They should also have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) as the main subjects
