MHT CET Syllabus 2018- DTE Maharashtra has issued the syllabus of MHT CET 2018 along with the official notification. The syllabus will consist of important topics from class XI syllabus and the complete syllabus of class XII of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. The MHT CET syllabus 2018 will have 20% weightage to class XI syllabus and 80% weightage to class XII syllabus. The MHT CET syllabus includes chapters and important topics from Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. The syllabus helps aspirants to make a good preparation strategy. Every subject is equally important as candidates have to qualify all with minimum cut off marks to get a good rank. Hence, equally divide your time to prepare all sections. For engineering aspirants, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are major subjects whereas candidates who are preparing for pharmacy should focus on Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The syllabus will help students to prepare well in a focused and organized manner. The students will get a clear idea of the type of questions basis which they will be tested and also get to know about the subject-wise topics.

MHT CET 2018 is scheduled to be held on 10th May 2018. It is a state level examination which is being conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra for admission to first year Bachelor of Engineering (B. E.)/Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.). An Overview of MHT CET Exam Pattern

  • There will be three papers of one and half hours each.
  • The medium for the examination shall be English or Marathi or Urdu for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. However, Mathematics paper shall be in English only.
  • The option once exercised about the medium by the candidate shall be irrevocable.
  • There will be no negative marking.
  • The exam will contain 3 question papers of 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and each paper will be of 100 marks.
  • The difficulty level of the test will be similar to JEE Main Examination
